Join SAFE and Save on ForeFlight
As a member of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE), you are eligible for a 33% discount on your annual single-pilot ForeFlight Basic Plus, Pro Plus, or Performance Plus subscription purchased through the ForeFlight website. ForeFlight recognizes the importance of flight educators in our quest to become competent, proficient, and safe pilots, and for this reason extends this benefit to those who are part of an organization that endeavours to promote professionalism and excellence in education.
SAFE is a member-oriented organization of aviation educators fostering professionalism and excellence in aviation through continuing education, professional standards, and accreditation. Together with SAFE's industry partners and the Federal Aviation Administration, SAFE provides the aviation community with resources to advance the profession and to assist aviation educators in developing skilled, knowledgeable, and safe members of the aviation community. Eligibility for the Discount
Your SAFE membership must be current. Ensure that your name, email, and SAFE member number information is current in the SAFE database. ForeFlight validates eligibility based on this information, so please make sure your information is current with SAFE.
If you are a new SAFE member, SAFE adds account email addresses to the ForeFlight roster once daily Monday through Friday. If you still don’t see your discount within 1-2 business days, please email memberservices@safepilots.org with your request.
If you are a current SAFE member and would like to subscribe to ForeFlight, just click the eligibility button below.
If you are an existing subscriber to ForeFlight and a current SAFE member, you will be eligible for the discount at your ForeFlight subscription renewal. You can also renew early or upgrade your plan at any time to get the discount. We do not provide retroactive discounts or partial refunds of prior purchases.
