Taxi charts and approach plates are geo-referenced to enable the real-time display of your GPS position on the chart.

On the ground, runway proximity advisor helps you avoid runway incursions.

In the air, never lose sight of where you are on an approach.

Plates on Maps

For the ultimate in situational awareness, view approach plates, taxi charts, hazards and weather in one seamless moving map view.

Synthetic Vision with Glance Mode

A visually stunning and high-performance hazard awareness capability for the iPad and iPhone.

See a three dimensional VFR view of terrain, obstacles, and runways along your flight path. Pan and zoom 360-degrees around your aircraft position.

When paired to a compatible AHRS source, Synthetic Vision becomes an affordable backup attitude indicator complete with super-responsive pitch and bank information.

Hazard Advisor & Automatic Hazard Alerts

Hazard Advisor is a moving map overlay that depicts hazardous terrain and obstacles, dynamically highlighted yellow and red based on the relative height of your aircraft to the hazard.

Hazard Alerts detect and warn of threatening obstacles and terrain using visual and audio alerts that display app-wide.

Terrain Profile View with Airspace

Profile View takes Hazard Advisor into vertical mode and gives you a side view of terrain, obstacles, and airspace along your planned route.

Use Profile on the ground to easily determine the highest point along your route, how much clearance you have over that highest point, and if your planned altitude intersects with any terrain or obstacles. Tap on airspace in Profile View to see information and zoom to it on the map so you know exactly where it lies along your route.

In the air, Profile View scrolls along as you fly and continuously updates the terrain and airspace ahead of your aircraft.

Cloud Documents

Store your own documents in the cloud, access them in ForeFlight on iPad and iPhone, and keep them in sync across devices.

Securely publish and update documents with a simple drag-and-drop interface using any one of three supported cloud services: Box, Amazon S3, or Dropbox.

Airport 3D allows you to see airports from any angle and instantly line up with runways to get the view from short final.

3D Review lets you play through Track Logs and Logbook entries to evaluate maneuvers with pitch and bank replay. With interactive first- and third-person camera modes you can review your flights from any perspective.

3D Preview provides an interactive preview of planned flight to help you familiarize yourself with terrain, landmarks, and more before the flight. Add an approach procedure to your route to see it depicted fix-by-fix in 3D, complete with speed and altitude restrictions for an accurate representation of the approach all the way down to the runway.

Optimized Autorouting

ForeFlight analyzes wind and temperature data, aircraft performance capabilities, and recent ATC history to generate the best route and altitude that’s also ATC-friendly, so you can file with confidence. The Route Advisor tool makes it quick and easy to get a Recommended Route, file it, and get on with your mission. Customize the Recommended Route with flexible Route Constraints, including avoiding or including specific waypoints, avoiding FIRs, and constraining your altitude range.

Takeoff & Landing Performance

Ensure that you can safely take off and land with fast runway performance calculations for supported piston and turboprop aircraft. ForeFlight uses published runway performance data and current weather conditions to calculate the most important distance and speed metrics for both takeoff and landing, and warns you when the results exceed the selected runway’s or aircraft’s limits. Add built-in safety margins based on runway conditions or other factors.

Pre-Departure Clearance (PDC) & D-ATIS

Receive your departure clearance via text and email at over 70 U.S. airports when you register your aircraft and file with ForeFlight. Also view ATIS in the app at supported locations.

Fuel Load Planning & Limit Checks

Multiple fuel policies give you the flexibility to quickly calculate fuel load scenarios. Need to land with a specific quantity of fuel? Use Landing Fuel policy to quickly calculate that block fuel. Automatic structural weight limit checks keep you from overloading the aircraft.

Integrated JetFuelX Prices

JetFuelX is the simple and fast way to manage your multiple fuel card memberships. With the ForeFlight Performance Plus plan, your contract fuel prices can be conveniently displayed within ForeFlight Mobile and on the web.

FBO Fuel Orders & Fuel Releases

Seamlessly integrated with ForeFlight’s flight planning workflow, Fuel Orders allow you to send detailed fuel requests to FBOs with information about the type and quantity of fuel and your expected arrival time at the FBO.

With a linked JetFuelX account you can also send a fuel release as part of your fuel order, notifying your contract fuel provider and providing all the details needed for them to contact the FBO and release the fuel.

Trip Assistant with Fuel Stop Planning

A web-based planning tool that helps anyone in your flight department quickly compute total trip time (including flight, drive, and stopover time), and answer the question: “When do I need to leave to arrive on time?” It even suggests fuel stops.

Files in Flights

Attach files, documents, and photos to a flight plan in Flights for faster inflight access and improved organization.
