ForeFlight can wirelessly connect to uAvionix’s AV-30 digital attitude indicator and directional gyro replacement via the AV-Link Wi-Fi module to send route updates and receive live flight data.
When connected to an AV-30, ForeFlight will receive air data and AHRS information to enable backup attitude display in Synthetic Vision, Unusual Attitude Alerts, and other capabilities.
ForeFlight can provide the AV-30 with GPS-based flight plan data, keeping its flight plan automatically synchronized with any route changes made in ForeFlight.
When used with any Sentry-family ADS-B receiver (Sentry Mini, Sentry, or Sentry Plus), the AV-Link will automatically connect to the Sentry’s open (non-password protected) network to integrate ADS-B traffic and weather display, while routing its own AHRS, pressure, and airspeed data via the Sentry to ForeFlight.
In this configuration, both the Sentry and the AV-Link will appear as separate connected devices in More > Devices.
